Hi
In my case the Metastock write-protect the Master-file and some times the
Emaster-file , to my it seem to be the Metastock that write-protect this
files when Metastock is running , so if you have á shut down of the system
, Metastock can not un-protect the files ( next time you run the Metastock
the prog. ask if you have á abnorm exit , or something like that )
The tricky thing is that the Explorer do NOT always show the
write-protect-files that have been left behind in ā crash . The old Winfile
always DO . In Win 95 , look for "Winfile . EXE" ( if not on your HD , you
have it on the Win 95 CD-disc)
Run Winfile . EXE , Locate \equis\grains\ , loock for Master-file and
Emaster-file inside \ grains\ i beliv that you will see an r after the
Master-file , make the file to an arkiv-file . ( mark the Master-fil by
click on it , hitt Alt + Return to open the dialog windov)
Bee sure that you dont have any of your data-files open by Metastock or
Downloader when you Down-load your data .
Hop it helps
Regards BoL
