This software was (and may still be) incorporated into CompuTrac
software. I have a dos copy with manual which I would entertain an
offer for, in dollars, that is.

This has been done, I think that they are called Crocker charts after the
developer. Price is on the Y-axis, volume on the X-axis. When the chart
makes a clockwise or counterclockwise spiral it's supposed to mean that the
stock is going up or down, not necessarily in that order. Try doing it
manually on a few charts. there used to be software to plot this. It may
still be available
