I'm trying to remember how to

Simple:  
1.  Solve the first equation for x (i.e. x = something y + ...)
2.  Substitute the right side of that equation for x in the second.
3.  Solve this new equation for y.
4.  Substitute your value for y into the first and solve for x.
5.  As a test, put both values into your second equation.

Oh,  you didn't want me to actually *do* the work, did you?  :-)
