Changing security names

Am I missing something?
(I am using MS4W 5.0 and DL4.0)

When I try to update a security whose name and/or code has changed the
only way I can find is to:
-export the security
-use wordpad to replace the security code
-create a new security with the new name and code
-import in the 'exported' security (having deleted the old security
first if it was a name rather than a code change)

Is there an easier way?
