I don't know how to do what you ask with a hand-drawn trendline, but I
have a suggestion that might work for you.
I have found that I can usually find a simple Moving Average that will
approximate my trendline. For example, look at ASND for the last
three months. I draw a resistance line thru the 1/23 high and the 4/9
high. If you drop a 26-day simple MA on the chart, it lies almost
exactly on that trendline. You can use the MA in a CROSS function.
