Hello,
I just opened a gmail account to try. I cannot connect and I think it has something to do with POP3/IMAP and SMTP. My ISP address has Standard POP3/IMAP: for receiving e-mail and Standard SMTP: for sending e-mail .
Why not use your Internet Service Provider and set up an Outlook Express account???? It is free and it works!!!!
