[amibroker] Can a macro or visual basic program be used to change AFL parameters?

Can a key stroke macro be used to issue a change in an ALF parameter?  
I think I tried years ago and could not get it to work.  But then Ami has changed a lot in that time.

If that won't work is it possible to write a script or visual basic program that will allow me to use a function key to cause a change in an AFL parameter value?
