[amibroker] Shutting down AB takes a long time

Probably a silly question.

I've noticed that when I shut down AB, usually at the the end of the day, that the shut down takes a long time (~5 minutes). I'm using the TC2007 database.

It displays a pop-up window
    "Saving...
     Elapsed time:
     Estimated time left"
showing the symbols being saved. Most of these symbols I don't even display during the course of the day. I peform one scan during the couse
of the day, and save the results to a watchlist.

Can anyone explain this? Can I safely press the cancel button on the pop-up window to prematurely stop the save process?
