[amibroker] Amibroker Registry Error during back test or optimization

I have 2 questions:

1. When I run optimization or back test, I get an error message with an Excalamation point Icon that says "Error writing last backtest formula to the registry".  How can I correct the registry to prevent the error message.  I have tried re-installing Amibroker, but it makes no difference.  The error does not seem to prevent the application from working.  It is just an annoying message.  I am not sure if it matters, but I have a Windows 98 OS.

2. The formula that I am developing has a buyprice and sellprice of "Close".  How can I realistically get the close price when I don't know the close price until the market closes?  Of course, after the market closes,  I have to wait until the open price, which may be better or worse than yesterday's close price.
