You might be referring to the "gfx" functions such as gfxpolygon().

I seem to recall a post that described how to use the native AB rectangle, ellipse and triangle drawing tools with a filled background instead of just an outline.  I couldn't find anything in the user documentation nor did I find anything searching the message archive.  If anyone remembers this post or knows how to use this feature I would certainly appreciate your reply.
