Does running a 64 bit program and 32 bit program concurrently limit the 64 bit program in anyway that running both programs as 64 bit would not? That is, does running a 32 bit program do anything to limit available memory access?
Thanks,
Dan

I am not an expert but running a 64-bit OS doesn't forbid you to continue using 32-bits apps, at least on Windows 7, they will just run ok, but using 32-bits, not 64. As for Amibroker, both the 32 and 64-bits version run perfectly. However I don't use the 64-bit because the 3rd party vendor technology used for plugin (in my case Interactive Brokers) is still 32-bit, so won't work on Ami 64-bits.
