Throw a dart.  Just about any broker will fall head over heels to have you trade any stock in the S&P500 index.  Be sure to investigate commissions for the size that you trade and service/support issues as these will differ between brokers.  For example, one commission schedule might be attractive for small orders while another is aimed at large orders.

If I wanted to have the opportunity to trade say any one of the stocks that make up the SP1500, SP600 midcap or SP400 smallcap, are there any online brokers that can handle this?

I am with CMC Market Maker, and they only handle the basket of stocks that make up sp500

Any help greatly appreciated
