I haven't tried this but maybe in one .afl file ...

AlertSystem-1
_SECTION_END();

_SECTION_BEGIN("System-2");
global Buy-2;

etc.
Buy-2 = ..
BuyPrice-2 = ..
Sell-2 = ..
SellPrice-2 = ..
AlertSystem-2
_SECTION_END();

Buy = Buy-1 OR Buy-2;
BuyPrice = IIf(Buy-1, BuyPrice-1, BuyPrice-2);
etc.


Later on if/when things get too big, put each system in its own .afl file and then you can have:

SuperCombo_A.afl
#include <system-1.afl>
#include <system-2.afl>
etc.

and also:
SuperCombo_B.afl
#include <system-192.afl>
#include <system-239.afl>
etc.

I don't believe that sections can be nested, so be careful of that.

This looks like a lot of work, but an editor which supports complex macros and folding such as NotePad++ can be a big help here.

Having slightly different names for arrays is probably not useful; as BuySystem1 and BuySystem2 are ok for generating signal arrays but for the inbuilt BuyPrice arrays if i change the names they might not be considered by the backtester as they should be.
