Take a look at ^IRX  Yahoo describes it as "Interest Rate Composite (^IRX)", but gives little additional information.  It goes back to 1960.  It might prove to be useful, but I'd be wary given how little is said about it on finance.yahoo.com.  A colleague told me he uses it as a proxy for 90 day T-Bill interest rates, but I don't know (I would appreciate knowing more about what it is, if anyone out there knows).
