Hello,

AmiBroker does not require Internet connection. It works off line.
It does not connect to internet at all unless you manually open Web Research window
to display internet pages (news), or use 3rd party data source (like eSignal, IQFeed)
or the formula written for you uses AlertIf EMAIL option to send e-mail alerts
or you manually send bug report.

Best regards,

I know from reading that MultiCharts, NinjaTrader, OpenQuant, and many other charting and trading apps "phone home" to the software maker's servers for licensing protection.

Does anyone know if AmiBroker does this at all under any circumstances?
