Mike, the problem has been solved.

It turns out
commenting out the lines:

//PlotShapes( shapeCircle*PivotHigh,colorRed,  0, H,  20) ;
//PlotShapes( shapeCircle*PivotLow, colorGreen,0, L, -20) ; 

removes the arrows from every bar.
Tho, the code does seem to set PivotHigh and PivotLow to one.
The shapes certainly do appear to be the 57 - 62 shapes.
