Thanks Steve,
No - PSIG is not a "valid" Ticker. It is an external signal file that I create and import.
I just discovered the cause. I sometimes work between MAC and PC. In this case the signal .csv file was created on the MAC. MAC underlying date number generates a date 1462 days ahead of PC. So my signal date line was 4 years and a day ahead of the normal ticker data. Signal data generated from MAC .csv was generating dates 4 years ahead of the current date for tickers.
I didn't happen to have the date axis turned on, so naturally, the signal file, which has only about 3 years data would not show up with the standard tickers on the same plot since the standard tickers end before the signal file began.
I converted the signal file to PC .csv format and all is well.
.......
One area of MAC - PC compatibility that isn't yet fully resolved and one has to be aware of when working between Microsoft Excel versions for MAC and PC. If one creates a file on MAC, dates will not have correct underlying date number for PC and vice-versa.
