[amibroker] Re: IQFEED AMIBROKER PROBLEMS

I am using Windows 7, one minute data and the most recent Beta version of Amibroker. Is that the case with you?

If I am not interested in today's data, I run a backtest without checking the "Wait for backfill" box. Is that the case for you or do you leave it checked all the time?

I have my maximum symbols in preferences-data set to 11. number of bars to load at 1000 and max megabytes of 1000. I have a 12 gig system. Do these numbers seem reasonable?

Under database settings ->intraday, I did not check the "allow mixed" because I did not want daily data. That is different from the video but I have tried it both ways with problems. Do you have a sense whether that could cause the problems?

Have you in fact checked the symbols editor to see in any of your data is out of order. Backtesting works fine except that the results are not correct so that you might not notice the problem.

Thanks for any help.

That is, for example, my database will have data for 10/29 preceded by data from 10/28 and then more data for 10/29. You can only see this when you look at the quote editor. It don't think it shows up in the charts but it does affect formula computations referring to previous bars.
