The IB API code works fine on my other machines, but not work on my Vista Home Premium 64 Bit one. I set the transmit to "True", however, it still return NotYetTransmited, same for limit-buy, market-buy or sell orders. From TWS window, I can verify that order is not transmitted even if I specify Transmit to be true.
ibc.PlaceOrder( Symbol, "Buy", Units, "LMT", LimitPrice, 0, "DAY", True, 100);
I tried to place a not-yet-transmitted order, then use Transmit explicitly, still no luck.
OrderID = ibc.PlaceOrder( Symbol, "Buy", Units, "MKT", 0 , 0, "DAY", False, 100);
ibc.transmit(OrderID);
Just wonder, is this a known issue to Vista Home Premium? or 64bit OS? I searched the database but didn't get any clue.
Other IB API code such as closeallpendingorder, closeallpositions work fine with me on this 64bit machine.
Thank you very much!
