The following code shows that the upper axis value cannot be less than 10% of the lower axis value, when no price is plotted.
mode = ParamToggle("Mode", "Linear|Scalar");
Miny = Param("Lower Y Value", 0, 0, 10000, 100);
Maxy = Miny+10; // Linear
if (mode == 1){ // Scalar
MinGap = MinY*0.01;
Maxy = MinY+MinGap;
}
Plot(MinY, "low", colorRed, styleLine);
Plot(maxY, "high", colorRed, styleLine);
With price plots, the distance between high and low axis values can be a single tick.
My question is why is this not the the same for scalar plots?
I have a graphics only chart, still using the default overlay mode, and I'm using two scalar value plots to define the upper and lower y axis for the chart. These are dynamic and change as the However I can't get a finer resolution than 10%.
I don't think I can use setChartOptions because I want to be able to dynamically drag and scale the axis as usual.
Regards,
Julian.
