Hi, this is my first time using Amibroker and have problems using it to download data. I need to import historical forex data up to 15 years ago to backtest a strategy. Below are the steps i took and the problems i faced:
First i clicked on Tools --> AutoUpdate Quotes(AmiQuote only).
Then I clicked on the "source" tab to change from the default(Yahoo Historical) to Forex(Finam). I also changed the start date to 1995.
After this, i was stuck because the tickers shown were still the the ones from DJI and not currency pairs. Tried playing with the "start downloading" button but it still wouldnt show currency pairs
Will appreciate it if anyone can tell me what i am doing wrong, thanks alot
