Hi,
Wow, I’ll just stop saving so much.
Thanks d, at the risk of being banned from the list forever I’ll use the
B wordJ

Disappearing data in RT, chart dissolves to one day!!
I've noticed something that sounds similar. I've found that if I
don't disconnect from the RT feed before I run any AA formula and then save the
database and exit AB then re-run AB so that the RT feed connects automagically
that I'll get a chart that starts shrinking and continues to shrink to almost
no quotes. But, if I do the above steps then everything is fine.

Hello.
Been
fighting this all week, after the corrupt data files due to an old battery(s)
in the UPS, I have a handful of stocks I track in RT 5.09 AMI with IB. On
Friday morning 3 stocks started out with around 3 days of data (all others 8
days which in norm), at the end of the day (the 3) had a history of one day!!
This is on two computers the same stocks. I do not have anything in the formula
that saves or writes anywhere.
What
I do during the day is hit save every now and then or run the Automatic
Analysis every 60 minutes or both. In help files under troubleshooting it talks
about what to do under crash or hangup, but not “disappearing”.
Have tried re-do of installation of 5.09 and a fresh data base with all symbols
re-entered. The two trading computers do not access the net but only through
IB.
So
any thought any one?
Thanks
to Barry and Brian_Z on their reply a week ago at the start of this
problem.
