Since Automated trading should reflect mechanical trading results, there are a few polls that may interest you:

Especially the one dated Sept 14, 2004....

Hi ,

I am wondering if some traders on this forum could give the type of return they are achieving using Amibroker with Automated trades .

I not asking for the amount of money invested , rather say

1 year : 74%

Im just trying see how many people have made it through the downturn .

Im quite new at this and just about breaking even , but i am working on minimizing my risk. I have read quite a few books and take a combination of fundamental and technical data.

Probably the best book I read was perry kaufmans  .... stock market wizards was also very useful ....

I would like to develop more quantitative systems specifically .I have not traded any announcement systems yet although i am looking at one for company results.

Cheers

Malcolm
