I refer you to TJ's previous answers on this Conrad. Just because you set preferences>intraday>refresh to 1 sec doesn't mean that charts will only be looked at once per second... as has been mentioned on numerous occasions, there are a number of 'events' than can cause a chart to refresh... not just a new tick of data, or a call from AB to receive a new tick of data....

If you want to see what invoked a chart refresh use Status("ActionEx")....
