In my case I want to trade on the open. Isn't the open the first tick in the new bar? Aparently AB thinks so because it does not change TimeNum, bar number, until that tick arrives. That open value is what AA would use.
I could use now(4) and say the bar opens when time gets to hhmmss where ss = 0. But wouldn't the open then be the open of the last bar and not the new bar since the new bar has not received a tick yet? I really don't know and will trace it and see.
So I guess what one uses depends on their design criteria but they need to know what AB is doing to make that decision. It wasn't clear to me and I can't say it is yet.
Thanks,
Barry
