Hello,
I use AB and IB everyday (before their first T1 line to Chicago!!) ver 5.09
with no problems. 1. My intra day stocks show the correct date and time. 2.
Backfill during market hours when busy is very limited as you are seeing. 3.
My options all work on all computers might have copies laying around on 5
puters or more. Last you must have something wrong in settings. Last time I
heard IB was limited to 100 symbols, which means e-signal or somebody else
would be better.
If you want we could rendezvous on Adobe Easy Connect (a webinar type
thing) to look at your problems. Let me know direct.

Thanks, I am already using real account.
The problem is that Interactive brokers does not work fine in real time with
Amibroker. At least, using stocks, what I use.
When you connect, there are several problems:
1- The stock's price seems OK, but the date appears one day before
today (?)
2- You have to backfill every stock manually. There is the option to
"backfill ALL RT quote windows symbols", but after downloading 3 or 4
symbols, it stops because of "throttle", and freeze during 120 seconds.
3- Some of the options of the intraday amibroker's menu doesn't work
apparently (like show 24 hours trading, or filter weekends..)
I think perhaps Interactive brokers won't be the best option to use in real
time..
What I really need is a way to test from Amibroker, many stocks in real
time, (probably one minute bars), to see if I send a limit order to my
broker, (which will be Interactive broker, although not as data provider)
Which data provider should I use, who could be the best, for testing many
stocks every minute??
Does anybody test a good provider? Perhaps e-signal?
