I've got an interesting one for everyone - everything was working
great this morning when I had to make some registry edits/clean-up due
to a virus. Since then, when I'm in AB and connected to Interactive
Brokers (for my day time market watching), I noticed that the
application was running slow as a dog. As an example, I could click
on a tab at the top of the window to switch to a different chart, and
the chart would change but the tab wouldn't update. In general, bad
screen updates all over the place.
Then I hid my Real-time panel - it has about 30 symbols in it with a
20 day backfill. I don't backfill all the symbols in the list.
So bring out the real-time panel, and the application slows to a
crawl. Horrible performance. Put it away and everything is fine.
What's strange about this is that it was all working fine this
morning. Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?
