I had a similar situation and tried everything. I finally asked support if there's a registry setting to change and they provided me one. I suggest you contact them and fully describe your problem. I'm not comfortable giving you a setting as our situation might not be the same.

I had changed the workspace objects to auto hide (WORKS ok) I now want
to change them back to non-autohide. The only one that seems to work
is the "layout" object - ie drwaing pin down.  The rest (symbols,
charts etc)when clicking the drawing pin does not work - the drawing
pin remains horizontal and autohide won't turn off.

Anyone else have this problem? Is this a Bug - if so is there a work
around?
