[amibroker] Mysterious Data Loss

Yesterday evening after I updated my US Stocks database and doing some
Explorations I found that about 25% of the stocks were without data. 
They had the closing day's data but the rest disappeared (I keep data
from July 1999 in the database)and the Information but no data.  What
caused it to vanish is a mystery?  To solve I reloaded the retire
database and all seems well.  Has anyone else had this experience ? or
know what could cause it??  Exasperating to say the least! And I
certainly don't want it to happen again.
