i figured it out. i had to make a FOR statement and then use
if (result [i] > .5)
after going through the manual again it made perfect sense, as you said.
"result" is an array therefore i needed to loop through each element
of the array to check if it met the IF condition.
i'm still not used to this array programming language, but it's slowly
making sense.
