New subscribers must be approved by the TJ, perhaps he has been busy. This list was inactive for a long time :-)
On the other hand some of us have tried many times to organize collaborative projects, and I am sad to say, the result is usually the work of just the few - not the many.
If you post didn't go through you may want to email support and ask them if they approved it.
