Hello Guys --
I have FastTrack Mutual Funds database with Amibroker. I was wondering
if, for the sake of maintaining just one database, I could download
historical stock quotes from Yahoo within the same database. Is this
possible?
Also, I did try to sort of do the same thing indirectly... I
downloaded Yahoo stock quotes for SP100 and converted them to FT fnu
files stored in C:\FT\ dir. This way Amibroker could access them with
the FT plug in. So when I open Amibroker, I can step through each of
the stocks in my SP100 watchlist fine and see their charts. But then
when I do an Exploration to generate a composite (AD for example), the
Analysis window only shows about 90 odd stocks. And surprisingly then
if I go back and revisit those 10 stocks that were missing in the
Analysis window, I get a weird message saying that there are not
enough bars, need three or more bars... something like that. Before I
ran the exploration, I could step through them fine but I no longer
can after the exploration got over.
Not sure if I am clear enough...
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
