I have to second Herman on this.
While I think that Fred's comment is reasonable from an advanced
programmer's POV, most of us don't fit in that category. I know I
certainly don't. I really just want to trade, and will learn just
enough programming in order to do so effectively. It's taken me a good
6 months to learn AFL from scratch, and I'm still far from a pro. I
just started to dabble into Jscript and Vbscript.
Editing columns in the backtester) should not require OLE. Setting a
config file or a command in AFL is the way to go.
