I've never seen a version of Acronis that was limited in a way that
it could not back up a partitioned drive. Never. My primary IDE
drive is partitioned into 3 partitions. I can back them all up, or
any one of them, or any combination of files or folders from the
group. No limitations whatsoever.
Free is nice, of course -- as long as there is enough incentive for
the developer to remain current with ever-changing hardware and OS
environments. Some freeware really is enduring. Other stuff
disappears after a while.
