Sorry, but I don't think it is significant that I got RY data
afterall .... those stocks are dual listed so I probably just got the
US exchange prices.
I get an error with CA:BMO also.
I don't see how you can get the data using that prefix?
GoogleFinance uses the following URL's for the webview:
http://finance.google.com/finance?q=TSE:RY
http://finance.google.com/finance?q=NYSE:RY
and historical webview:
http://finance.google.com/finance/historical?q=NYSE:RY
http://finance.google.com/finance/historical?q=TSE:RY
Also, RY does not have a download link for historical data (not all
stocks quoted have historical as well?)
If you enter the quotes search, at GoogleFinance, as TSE:BMO or
NYSE:BMO you get this:
http://finance.google.com/finance?q=NYSE%3ABMO
http://finance.google.com/finance?q=TSE%3ABMO
