My laptop which is running Amibroker with IBTWS data feed died
yesterday. I cannot turn it on now, but I believe it is a hardware
electrical problem and the hard disk is still good. I plan to
remove the hard disk and use an USB adapter to backup the Amibroker
database. My question is how and which files?
After reading the Amibroker User Guide, the online Knowledge
Base, and some related messages here, I believe all I need is to copy
the entire "Data" directory under the Amibroker directory and paste it
on my other computer. Am I correct???
But how about the "broker.master", "broker.watch",
and "broker.workspace" files, which version to use? Donor/Dead
Computer's or Recipient/Working Compputer's???
