I seem to have run into a strange problem. Hoping someone can help. I
have two PCs with
identical Amibroker installations, identical AA settings, and both
pull the identical AFL formulas from a shared network drive. I have
been running these two set-ups problem free for about six months.
But on one computer, the backtester is no longer generating the Trade
List when I run a backtest. In the Report settings I have Trade List
chosen and "Include trade list in the report" checked off. But when I
run the backtest, it shows zero rows, though in the grey panel under
the rows it correctly shows the summary line indicating the
profit/loss, # of trades, etc. Just no individual trade rows. The
other computer (again with identical settings) correctly shows all rows.
When I choose "Detailed Log" instead of "Trade List" I do get the
correct details, so the backtester engine is correctly seeing everything.
But why would the Trade List ability suddenly disappear?
Tried re-installing AB on the "defective" machine but same results.
Anyone else ever see this problem? I can't detect any problematic
settings and I have not changed any settings. Rather strange...
I did recently install Batman on both machines but I can't imagine
that would screw up AB on only one machine. Other than that, no
changes to either machine.
