Hello,
I have MultiCharts as well as Amibroker and a couple of others. I
find MultiCharts slow and cumbersome. I much prefer Amibroker for the
speed, stability and functionality. My one criticism of Amibroker is
that it needs more built-in studies for those of us who are not
literate with coding. TJ has created a wonderful program which could
be made even better with additional user selected studies. He is aware
of the perception Amibroker has of needing coding skills to get the
best from it. However, he has resisted making many changes to negate
this perception by increasing more functionality ( built in studies)
for traders who have no wish to learn coding or are unable for some
reason.
Other than this one criticism, Amibroker is a superior program IMHO.
He has done a remarkable job both in the construction of and the
support for his software.
