Hello,
Having used Amibroker for a while EOD, I've ventured into the realtime
world trying out esignal data. I really like the clean cut look of the
charts. Friday and Monday have disappeared getting to grips with it
all, and a number of queries have arisen. I've trawled the menus and
boards for answers and may be missing the obvious. If anyone could
answer any or all, or just say 'not possible', I would be most
grateful. Using 5.20.0 RC1 with 24 tickers, 1 min database.
1.How can one show time on the x axis and price on the y axis at the
position of the cursor on the chart rather than just at the bottom of
the screen?
2.Realtime Quote Window ? I only follow 20 odd instruments with last
price, so is it possible to arrange the realtime quote window at the
bottom of the screen (can do that bit), but with only 3 recurring
columns 'ticker, bid, ask'. Eg arrange them 4 high, 5 wide along the
bottom.
3.Can Realtime Quote window be made single click to bring up linked
charts?
4.Fibs ? Great to be able put the fibs on a separate layer, colour the
levels, and get rid of labels by default. How can the diagnol red
line be got rid of by default. Can't seem to do it here.
5.Alerts ? Alert setting in Amibroker seems rather torturous with easy
alerts. Is there an easier way to set a price alert- nothing fancy ? a
mark or line on the chart and a sound output when price goes thru it
up or down. Perhaps assign an alert to a horizontal line? Like right
clicking on chart or quote board, set alert, or at least a box popping
up with the instrument and perhaps latest price filled, up/down scroll
arrows in and sound etc filled in by default.. If you've used
Porealtime you'll know what I mean.
6.Connection to esignal server ? seems to take two or three attempts
to connect fully most times, and sometimes doesn't auto refresh to the
latest data. No problems with the esignal s/ware. Is this a common
problem?
