The difficulty that many traders have, with managing change, is a
daily observation that I make.... it is very hard to 'break' old
habits.

I am happy, but not satisfied with my progress ... in 4-5 years I
have gone from zero experience and knowledge, on stockmarket
investing, to the point where I am not scared of any trader in the
world.

I think the key to that progress is my capacity to quickly smell a
dead, or dying, horse, jump off it and start looking around for a new
means of transport ... even walking beats sitting there flogging away
(I gotta give Ken his props for learning from the 'shock and awe' of
October 08 and changing up his game).

Which brings me to AFL.

According to the manual I should never have taken an interest in
programming, statistical trading etc .... Tomasz led me into it ...
even more than that he converted me to array processing (pretty easy
since I was a clean skin programmer).

The conundrum for me now is that I don't really need it, or AB,
anymore (my trading outcomes won't change much if I never use it
again) but, I got a liking for it and am continuing for the fun and
the friendship.

The problem is I want more AFL but does Tomasz really want to give
it ... I have had the soup and the entree, and they were world class,
but I can't seem to find the mains.

AFL is Tomasz's creation and being an artist, and art lover, I want
him to reveal more of his creation but he seems reluctant.

I can't decide whether he thinks that OLE, JScript is part of the
fare and I should get on with chewing on that OR what?

However, I can get OLE etc anywhere ... it is not showing me what
Tomasz has got is it?

I am a little confused by it all.

Perhaps Tomasz doesn't want to give us the whole box and dice ...
maybe he has lost his creative chootzpah or is overwhelmed
by 'business' ... he doesn't have to give us everything ... he has
already taken me to magnificent places that I had no idea I was going
to visit.... I am sure when he started he had no idea of the
capacities of the people he was going to attract to AB .. some are
world class and hence have very high expectations ... anything less
than perfect doesn't really wash with them.

Anyway, the playground is chock full of toys and I am running out of
time ..... I might go over there and play with that classical guitar
or something else that catches my IMAGINATION (The Strength To Dream,
Colin Wilson).
