What can I say? Thanks to all who commented. I am not sure why I had such
difficulty, nor can I reconcile the statement that the Unregistered version
is limited to 20 symbols. Probably the program was changed but the Help
file was not updated.
Nonetheless, I am running just like I want to be, I feel good that I have
sent $65 towards TJ, as he does fantastic work and deserves all he can get
from all of us.

Subject: [amibroker] Re: Tried All Past Suggestions - Amiquote data not
imported
The last time I saw this discussed it ended up being a version issue AQ/AB
but it looks like that isn't the case with you.
I ran the baseline test for you to give you a stable reference point:
- I have AQ 2.0 unregistered (haven't entered my key to new install).
- created new 'blank' database & left it open
- imported Nasdaq100 tickers to AQ from and old tls file
- auto imported 1 month Yahoo historical data
- then auto imported Yahoo fundamentals and fullnames were entered OK
- data still OK
- auto imported Yahoo extra fundamentals and AQ prompted me that I could
only download 20 with unregistered version
- AQ stopped download extras after 20 symbols
- data for 100, fundamentals for 100 and extra fundamentals for 20 all OK
