I believe that setting is for how many records you can store in the database.
Like emini you need to have 5-10M records per symbol but if you store like
multiple of that I don't know if the database can handle it.
Just did a count for ES ( S&P emini future ) it is about 120M tick
record for 4 yrs of data.
