If you need just EOD data then there is no need for Sharescope at all.
You can use Amiquote and download EOD data from yahoo for free.
other solution is: get MLDownloader or similar programm and this will 
download FREE data from yahoo. MLDownloader is not free but it doesn't 
cost much and it is one-off fee.
