Thanks TJ, that is what i mostly do - i will read through my code to see where I didn't.


Yes Barry, that always works. however that is a slow way to develop code. My problem occurs when my code crashes between the fopen and fclose. Since i manipulate many folders/files it can be difficult to find the file(s) that were left open - I lose a lot of time just to find/close the files after a crash.
