Try installing a new/updated version of your graphics card driver.

If you have an NVIDIA-based card:
www.nvidia.com

If you have an ATI-based card:
www.ati.com

Intel card:
www.intel.com
etc.

If you don't know which you have, go into control panel, display properties.
