Hello,
what is the current status of Amiboker's compatibility with Vista
Business x64?
To check out the compatibility, I downloaded and installed the trial
version of Amibroker today. The about dialog displays: AmiBroker Standard
Edition, 5.10.2, UNREGISTERED
It appears to run fine, but I have problems with Windows Scripting
Host. When Amibroker runs and I execute the following test script via
cscript.exe or wscript.exe (see below), nothing happens in Amibroker.
The script below is supposed to add a stock with the symbol "Hello"
to Amibroker, but nothing happens.
Does Windows Vista x64 or Amibroker needs special configuration for
scripts such as the one below to be executed successfully? The
ability to run automated imports of stocks is an essential requirement
for me, if it's not possible I won't purchase Amibroker 5.10. I know
that it worked fine with older Amibroker 4.x versions and Windows
2000, but with Vista Business x64, it does currently NOT work!
