No, I meant that Vista itself is not a problem.
The only thing what matters is whenever the system is 32 bit or 64 bit.
There are 64 bit versions of Vista and XP Professional. When I was speaking
about 64 bit system I meant ANY 64 bit Windows-family system.

Should there be a 'not' somewhere in "
(can be Vista but can be XP64 bit)"?  If so, where?
Thanks.

Hello,

Serious misinformation.

ALL data plugins work fine on Vista
============================
I am using Vista 32 bit on my notebook and all plugins work fine.

Also plugins work fine if you use 32 bit AB on 64 bit Vista.

The only problem with plugins is with running native 64-bit AB on native 64 system (can be Vista but can be XP64 bit),
because 64 bit applications need 64 plugins and they in turn need 64 bit APIs from DATA VENDORS,
and *no* data vendor supplies 64-bit API currently.

i am not running Vista anymore - too many problems. Gone back to XP.

Most data plugins does NOT work under Vista. That you don't have a chart means the system doesn't get any data.

try running XP.

Hi, herman

When AB runs on vista by using IBs to auto trading, it'll show that

"ERROR: Formula execution halted because of an error - no chart to display".

i meet the same problem as previous users posted:
