Hi Mark, thanks for the info. I was also looking over the QuoteTracker plugin in the Users Guide and  I think I may try that first, since I already have QT and all I really want is a way to predict today's signal for the purpose of placing EOD trades. With Ameritrade/QT combo I can get free streaming data with 20 day backfill for plenty of tickers so I think I will probably try feeding it into AB. Some of my stuff is getting pretty complicated now and increasingly difficult to write the code that will predict today's signal, so I am thinking it might be a lot easier to just use RT data on a daily chart where the last bar will show today's current signal just before the close. What do you think? Thanks for your thoughts!

I was a beta tester for QP RT and am still using it

Was using E-signal prior

Use it daily and am happy with it

QP has a plug-in and it works well

Only issue I have right now is that the QP data will not calculate dividend percentage yet

Hi All - I am wondering if anyone could tell me about using AB with QPFeed, the RT feed from Quotes Plus. I gather it is up and running now since QP is offering it for sale but I don't see any mention of it in the AB User Guide or the AB website. Could anyone please tell me...

 

1. if they use it regularly and are happy with it?

2. how the data gets into AB ( regular QP plugin?,  maybe a new QPFeed plugin?.... )

3. if I wanted to, could I compress the RT data into daily bars and just watch the last bar updating in RT?

4. any downside?
