You must NEVER EVER edit AmiBroker binary database files with
Word.
Word is NOT for editing binary files !
If you edit binary files with Word you will CORRUPT them and
cause many
weird problems.
Do NOT touch AmiBroker binary files.

Hi,
I've been trying to re-download Jim's US-stocks
database but it seems like I need a password to get to his site. Anyone
had the same problem?
I'm still trying to set my database so it would
use Jim's category but deleting the .OB as my data provider does not take
that. I know we discussed a lot about this, but what I tried was a
failure.
Last thing I tried was to edit the master file with all
my quotes and erase the .OB with Word, and all it did was to make Amibroker
crash and I had to change the name of the folder so AB would not automatically
crash each time I start it.
