Maybe he means the AB "feature" that if you drag a (trend) line toward
the right margin, it changes slope as it "presses up against" the
Y-axis? In the attached I made a copy of the shown TL (1) and dragged
it directly right toward the margin (2) (non-log and snap is off). If
you drag it up, left or down, it slides off-screen without changing
slope (as it should).

I am working with the trial version presently and I find as the trend lines are moved about the chart that they tend to change slope.
